Gracepoint traces our roots back as an extension of our church in Berkeley, CA. Our vision is to minister to the many students at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). The initial church plant team was sent off on July 10, 2008, and we held our inaugural service shortly thereafter on October 5, 2008 (see inaugural photos). Since then, God has extended our ministry to embrace college students, graduate students, and young adults in Austin and the greater Austin area. It is our mission to be a community of Christ-followers who honor God passionately, love each other deeply, and engage the world lovingly.

Pictured below is the pastoral couple at Gracepoint Berkeley, Pastor Ed and Kelly Kang. They have been the spiritual mentors for our leadership team, for some up to 20 years! We are grateful for their continual wisdom, guidance and prayers as we plant our church in Austin.
